Hong Kong - Nov 08 (Part 4 - final)

After 糖朝, my boss wanted to eat sotong balls. We headed back to Causeway Bay, so that at the same time, we can orientate the girls on the locations of some of the eateries and shopping locations. This joint called 文辉 is really popular with their sotong/cuttlefish balls (basically all type of balls).

八宝汤 8 treasures soup

Other than this, we also ordered crispy fish skin and 腐皮卷.

We were all very tired by then, but all felt heaty and some were worried they may fall sick. I had a client presentation the next day, so we had to find something.

Hong Kong - Nov 08 (Part 3)

Day 2 dinner was a quick bite with my boss at 富记 in Mongkok. Another great place for porridge and noodles. Their roast goose is also very good. We had roast goose, glutunous rice with preserved meat, deep fried spare ribs with salt and pepper, water cress soup with spare parts. Too hungry, the joint was too cramp and too tired to take photos.

Wanted to eat desserts, so we arranged to meet another colleague (Rain) who was in HK for holidays together with her friends.

As they had not eaten dinner at almost 9pm and complained that they have not eaten any good dim sum, we brought them to 糖朝 in Tsimshatsui.

炸两

egg tarts with birdnest toppings

Signature dish from 糖朝. Can eat as dessert or as a staple in place of rice or noodles.

That's not the end of the evening. Stay tuned to find out how we ended the evening. ;)

Hong Kong - Nov 08 (part 1)

Dunno where to start. So looked at my archives and decided that should start with some overseas stuff.

Went to Hong Kong last November, it was my 6th trip to Hong Kong within 12 months... sianzzz beyond imagination. This trip was for an inspection, a presentation to my HK office and a few client meetings. The only upside was going around eating with my boss!

Late late lunch on Day 1
Roast duck noodle 烧鸭濑粉(they were out of goose) from Maxim Food Court

Our HK colleagues brought us to eat Hotpot for dinner on Day 1. Didn't shoot. After dinner, did a bit of shopping and then before heading back to hotel, we decide to whack some porridge.
